Women’s Veterans Day Event for Michael’s Foundation
Michael’s Foundation hosted a women’s veterans day event to celebrate women in the military
In recognition of Women in the Armed Forces, Michael’s Foundation celebrated “Women Veterans Day” on June 11, with an event at their foundation’s host farm, Al-Marah Arabian Horses .
Michael’s Foundation is a non-profit program established in 2019 by Kriss and Larry Titus. It is named after their son, Michael Titus, who took his own life in 2016 from the psychological effects of war and battlefied experiences. Michael served in the Army from 2007 to 2014, and returned with PTSD and severe depression.
Michael had always shared with his family how he dreamed of starting a nonprofit to help veterans and their families to adapt to civilian life post military service; to give to them the opportunity to thrive not just survive. Michael’s Foundation is in his honor.
Michael’s Foundation asked Ant Farm Media to cover their Women’s Veterans Day event and create a highlight video from the event.
We were honored to be a part of this beautiful day, and we hope we’re able to go out there more to continue to tell more of Michael’s Foundation’s story.
